LINAPIL

Linagliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It works by increasing the levels of incretin hormones, which in turn increases insulin release in response to meals and decreases glucagon levels. This results in lowering of blood glucose levels. It is often used in combination with other antidiabetic medications.
