Question 9

What is Montair LC Kid Syrup and what is it used for?

Accepted Answer

Montair LC Kid Syrup is a medicine used to help control allergy symptoms and allergy-related breathing problems in children when prescribed by a doctor. It may relieve symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itching, watery eyes, and allergic cough. In some children, it may also help prevent wheezing linked to allergies or asthma. Montair LC Kid Syrup contains two medicines: levocetirizine, which reduces allergy symptoms, and montelukast, which helps reduce inflammation in the airways. A doctor should confirm that your child’s symptoms are allergy-related before starting this medicine.

Question 10

Can Montair LC Kid Syrup help with cough?

Accepted Answer

Montair LC Kid Syrup may help with cough if the cough is related to allergies or asthma because it works by reducing allergic reactions in the airways. However, it is usually not helpful for a cough caused by viral infections such as the common cold. Do not combine Montair LC Kid Syrup with other cough or allergy medicines unless the doctor advises it, as this may lead to accidental double-dosing. Consult your child’s doctor if the cough continues or is associated with fever, wheezing, or breathing difficulty.

Can I change the dose of Montair LC Kid Syrup if my child starts feeling better?

Accepted Answer

Do not increase or decrease the dose of Montair LC Kid Syrup on your own. Always follow the dose prescribed by your child’s doctor. If you think your child is experiencing side effects, consult your doctor before making any changes.

Question 12

How should Montair LC Kid Syrup be stored?
