scienceMechanism of Action (How it works)

expand_more

Tofatop Ointment suppresses the overactive immune system by inhibiting certain enzymes called Janus kinases (JAKs). Thus, Tofatop Ointment blocks the production of pro-inflammatory substances (including cytokines) that contribute to the development of inflammation and other symptoms of atopic dermatitis. When used for androgenetic alopecia, Tofatop Ointment prevents the destruction of hair follicles by the overactive immune system. Applying Tofatop Ointment helps in hair regrowth in areas affected by androgenetic alopecia.
