XARELTO 15MG TABLETS

Xarelto Tablet contains rivaroxaban, an anticoagulant medication that helps prevent blood clots. It is used to reduce the risk of blood clots in the blood vessels of the brain (which can lead to strokes) and other parts of the body in patients with an irregular heart rhythm. Xarelto Tablet is also prescribed to treat or prevent blood clots in the veins of the legs (deep vein thrombosis) and to prevent blood clots in the blood vessels of the lungs (pulmonary embolism). This medication is also used to prevent venous blood clots in patients who are undergoing hip or knee replacement surgery. Rivaroxaban in Xarelto Tablet works by inhibiting a specific blood clotting factor (factor Xa), which reduces the tendency for blood clots to form. It is important to take Xarelto Tablet with food at the same times each day, as directed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medication on your own without consulting your healthcare provider. While using Xarelto Tablet, be cautious and avoid direct contact with sharp objects, such as knives or blades, as this may increase the risk of bleeding.
